Terms of Service

By creating an account or using VetMF ("the Platform," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.

VetMF is available to:

• Veterans — individuals who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces
• Active duty service members approaching transition
• Companies seeking to hire veteran talent
• Veteran service organizations supporting transition

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information in your profile
• Not share your account with others
• Notify us immediately at legal@vetmf.com if you suspect unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information about your military service or professional background
• Impersonate any person or organization
• Use the Platform for spam, solicitation, or unsolicited commercial messages
• Harass, intimidate, or threaten other users
• Scrape, crawl, or programmatically collect data from the Platform without written permission
• Upload malware, viruses, or any harmful code
• Attempt to circumvent any security measures or access systems you are not authorized to access
• Post job listings or opportunities that are fraudulent, illegal, or discriminatory

VetMF operates on an honor system for verifying military service. By registering as a veteran, you represent under penalty of account termination that you have genuinely served in the U.S. Armed Forces.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban any account where military service claims are found to be false. Stolen Valor — falsely claiming military service — is not only a violation of these terms but may be illegal under federal law.

You retain ownership of the content you post on VetMF (your profile information, messages, and any materials you upload). By posting content, you grant VetMF a limited, non-exclusive license to display and distribute that content within the Platform for the purpose of operating the service.

You are solely responsible for the content you post. We do not endorse user-generated content and are not liable for any content posted by users.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to the community.

VetMF is a platform that connects veterans with employers. We do not guarantee employment outcomes, the accuracy of job listings, or the legitimacy of any specific employer.

Companies posting on VetMF represent that their job listings are genuine, lawful, and non-discriminatory. VetMF is not a party to any employment relationship formed through the Platform.

Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

The VetMF name, logo, website design, and original content (excluding user-generated content) are owned by VetMF and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our proprietary content without our written permission.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

We do not guarantee that using VetMF will result in employment, connections, or any other specific outcome.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VETMF SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You may delete your account at any time using our self-service deletion page or by contacting us at legal@vetmf.com. Self-service deletion is immediate. Email requests will be processed within 7 days.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer resident of a state that prohibits mandatory arbitration for consumer disputes, the arbitration clause above does not apply to you, and disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
