About
My name is Christopher Ponce De Leon. I am a senior logistics, operations, and program management professional with more than 21 years of leadership experience in the United States Army, including extensive service supporting Special Operations Aviation within the 160th SOAR (Airborne). My career has been centered on leading complex logistics and operational programs in high-tempo environments where mission execution, accountability, and operational readiness were critical to success. My expertise includes supply chain management, aviation sustainment, expeditionary logistics, ammunition management, fuel operations, transportation coordination, and cross-functional operational planning. Throughout my career, I have managed large-scale logistics operations supporting more than 2,700 personnel and 25 special operations aircraft within a $900 million aviation program while maintaining accountability for over $109 million in organizational assets and inventory. I have served in senior leadership roles including Distribution Company First Sergeant, Detachment NCOIC, Chief Ammunition NCO, Battalion Airborne Operations NCO, and Equal Opportunity Leader. In these positions, I led diverse teams, implemented process improvements, strengthened operational accountability, and coordinated logistics operations supporting global deployments, multinational exercises, and mission-critical sustainment requirements. As I transition from military service, I am focused on applying my leadership and operational experience to civilian roles in project management, supply chain management, and operations leadership. To support this transition, I have earned certifications as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB), and Demonstrated Senior Logistician (DSL). I am also pursuing my Project Management Professional (PMP) certification while completing an Associate Degree in Small Group Management at Purdue Global. I bring a results-driven leadership approach built on strategic planning, operational discipline, team development, and continuous process improvement. My experience leading large organizations, managing high-value programs, and executing complex operations has prepared me to contribute effectively within fast-paced and performance-driven organizations.
